Important information

Print your tickets!
Have you purchased your tickets online? Then print before you go to the stadium. The stadium can only be accessed with physically printed ticket on A4. A ticket on a smartphone can not be scanned and does not give access to the stadium.

Fanwalk

Fanwalk leaves Fanzone at 18:30 on July 26.

Stadium info

- Near the stadium there will be a Commercial Area with various activities to get you excited about the game.

- In stadium there are various different stands to buy food and beverages. You can only pay for those using a prepaid card. These can be paid for in cash or by bank card in stadium at one of the service points. If you don’t use all the prepaid credits you uploaded on your card – you can get the amount refunded (to an amount of 10 euros maximum).

- On your ticket it shows which entrance you need. It’s not possible to enter the stadium at another entrance than stated on your ticket.

-  Here you will find a map of the stadium. At the stadium there are also volunteers who can show you the way.

 
Safety
Safety first! Therefore, there are some rules we’d like to bring to your attention:

-  Everybody that enters the stadium will be checked – this includes backpacks. To avoid long lines, it’s preferred to leave large bags at home.

-  Items that may be dangerous to visitors are prohibited in stadium: bottles, glasses, sticks, fireworks and weapons.

-  Banners without sticks are allowed, provided the text on the banner is not discriminatory, offensive or politically loaded

-  Smoking and alcohol are prohibited in and around the stadium.

Travel information

Train
If you travel by train, you should leave at Breda Central Station. At the back of the station you will find the bus stop. You take bus 2 to The Hague Beemden. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Rat Verlegh Stadium (bus stop). Check your travel information here.

Bus
If you travel by bus you can go straight to the stadium from The Hague Beemden with bus 2. Otherwise, you must transfer at Breda Central Station or the central inner city centers of Karnemelkstraat or Vlaszak. Take bus 2 to Haagse Beemden. On match days, Arriva city and regional buses are free of charge to and from the Rat Verlegh Stadium. Bus services in Breda, and in the region also run regularly in the off-peak hours, so you don't have to worry about missing your last bus home.

Door-to-door advice
For a travel advice, please check 9292ov.nl. Enter 'Rat Verlegh Stadion' or 'Stadionstraat 23' in 'Breda' and you will get your current door to door route.
Parking without a card is not possible around the stadium. We advise you to park at Steenakker. 

Bike or walking
Are you traveling to the stadium by bike or walking? Then use the special Active app that UEFA has developed and maybe you will win one of the great prizes. You can park your bike near the stadium at the assigned spot. 

The Fanwalk leaves the Fanzone at 19:00.

Route:
The Rat Verlegh Stadium is located at Stadionstraat 23 in Breda. Following are directions to the stadium from the highways around Breda.

From Rotterdam (A16)
If you drive from Rotterdam, take the Prinsenbeek / Breda-Noord exit. At the traffic lights at the end of this exit turn left at the crossing with the viaduct. You will then get 3 traffic lights, going straight ahead. At the fourth traffic light turn right and turn left at the next traffic light. You will see the Rat Verlegh Stadium on your right.

From Antwerp (A16)
If you drive from Antwerp, take exit Breda-Noord on the A16. At the end of the exit turn right. You will then get 2 traffic lights, where you go straight. At the third traffic light turn right and turn left at the next traffic light. You will see the Rat Verlegh Stadium on your right.

• From Utrecht (A27)
If you are driving from Utrecht, take exit Breda-Noord. At the end of this exit turn right. At the second traffic light after the exit, turn right again (there are no traffic lights on the right). You are now crossing a viaduct over a railway line. After the viaduct you will get 7 traffic lights where you have to go straight (after the 6th traffic light you will get a viaduct passing over water). At the 8th traffic light, turn left (follow signs for Stadion) and go straight ahead. You then drive at the NAC Stadium. At the next traffic light, turn left. You will see the Rat Verlegh Stadium on your right.

• From Tilburg (A58 / A27)
If you drive from Tilburg, just follow Breda-Noord for Breda. You are now on the A27. After about 3 kilometers, take the exit Breda-Noord. At the end of this exit turn left over the viaduct. At the third traffic light after the exit, turn right again (there are no traffic lights on the right). You are now crossing a viaduct over a railway line. After the viaduct you will get 7 traffic lights where you have to go straight. After the 6th traffic light, you will get a viaduct over water. At the 8th traffic light, keep going to the stadium (left), after which you can go straight. You then drive at the NAC Stadium. At the next traffic light, turn left. You will see the Rat Verlegh Stadium on your right.

Parking

If you are visiting the stadium by car, there are several possibilities for parking. 

Parking information supporter with no parking pass
 We advice you to park your car on one of the parking lots of Steenakker.

Buses:
There’s a very limited amount of parking lots available for buses. If you want to apply for a parking spot for a (touring) bus, please send an email to ticketing@WEURO2017.nl. Your application is succesful once you’ve received an confirmation. Without a confirmation, you’re not entitled to a parking spot. 

Disabled parking
Disabled parking is possible at P5. There are a limited amount of places.

- P7: (Northside Stada Stores, on the other side of the road)

Non-parking cardholders: 
- At the Steenakker business park you can park during matches on the roadside. It’s free to park here.

City and venue program

Fan activities

Before every match you can visit the WEURO Fanzone in Willemstreet (this is on the centre side of the railway station). Fans of all teams will gather here to celebrate women’s football together. There will be fun activities for both kids and adults. You can participate in contests, join one of the football activities or lounge in front of the big screen – which will broadcast matches. There will be food trucks in the Fanzone. Tip: The Fanzone in Breda is open for 10 days during the tournament. The complete program and opening hours of the Fanzone can be found here at 'Fanzone'.

Fanzone
In Willemstreet there will be a Fanzone where you will find all kind of football activities. In the middle of Breda football fans will have a place to meet and enjoy football. The Fanzone is opened on the following days, 12:00 till 23:00.

  • July 24: Dutch national team broadcasted on big screen Due to the weather the Fanzone is closed on July 24.
  • July 26: Switzerland – France in Breda
  • July 19: Quarter finals
  • July 30: Quarter finals
  • August 3: Semi-finals (one in Breda)
  • August 6: FINAL

There are all kinds of different activities in the Fanzone: Polesoccer, penalty games and table football. There will be food trucks and a lounge. Of course there will be a big screen, which will broadcast matches. The pre-match activities include the Fanwalk, live music and food and beverage. On July 26 there will be a special Kidsday with lots of fun games for kids. See you in the Fanzone!

Besides visiting our Fanzone there are also lots of other things to do in Breda. There are a lot of monuments to visit, as well as museums. You can also take a tour through the city on a boat. There’s plenty to do in Breda, you can find the entire program of Breda on the website of VVV.
